The courses are addressed to pupils ranging from 6 to 18 years old, during a full day and take place within the facilities of the Museum. The program is divided into several sections in accordance with the age of the participants.
The theoretical items are presented by means of an audio visual followed by a discussion on the main concepts of traffic safety.
The practical side is given at a closed and paved circuit reproducing the streets of a village or a city. The young ones make contact with the main signals of the high way code, zebra crossing, crossroads,...
They have to develop various roles as pedestrians and as bicycle riders. Those over 14 years old, the legal age to ride a motorcycle, will also learn how to drive a scooter. The pupils will have to pass several exercises in order to practice acceleration, how to brake, balance and skill to become a safe and responsible driver, always supervised by specialised instructors.
Finally, the course also includes a guided visit to the museum.
